If you are looking for a new laminator foreveryday use, there's one machine you should check out. It's theFellowes Cosmic 2 95, a machine that has just hit the market. Thismachine has a lot going for it and you may just find that it's theright machine for your needs. Take a look at its strengths and weaknesses: Strengths:Thisversion of the Cosmic 2 has a 9.5-inch feed opening. This is perfectfor items that are 8.5" x 11" and smaller.

You will be able to laminatebrochures, business cards, and so on. Thislaminator will work with 3 mil pouches when you're laminating largeritems. However, you can use 5 mil pouches when working with items thatare about the size of an index card or smaller. If you experience apouch jam at any point, you can use the pouch release lever in the backof the machine to clear things up. TheCosmic 2 has three temperature settings.

One of the settings is a coldsetting so you will be able to process heat-sensitive items without Screw Barrel anyproblems. The machine takes about 5 minutes to warm up and it has tworollers to ensure a smooth finish. Usingthe Cosmic 2 is pretty safe since it has HeatGuard technology. Thisunique feature keeps the exterior of the machine nice and cool so youwon't accidentally burn yourself as you work. Mostof Fellowes' laminators are compact and the Cosmic 2 is no exception.This device measures 4.25" (height) x 17.75" (width) x 5.75" (depth)and it only weighs about 5 pounds.
